The Majority of scans we take are Implants oriented. Most of these cases are routine work of demonstrating & measuring the implant site. A significant number of those cases reveal incidental findings. Some of these findings plus special cases being sent to me in all dental disciplines for a special workup, requires an out of routine workup, experience & creativity in order to find the right angle or method for demonstrating the problem & most important, what causing it! To improve the referring Doctor's 3D perception of his patient’s problem, a 3D animation is frequently produced. In my talk I will present such cases & the methods of working them up.
About the Speaker: Opened his First Dental Imaging Center in Nahariya Israel in 1984, today owns 6 CBCT machines in leading Imaging Centers. Consulted for many years for the Planmeca distributor and for Orex owned by Kodak. Consulting for the biggest Imaging Centers chain in Israel & for Imaging centers around the world . He is involved in special Cone Beam CT projects for Danaher around the globe including Kavo, Gendex & Imaging Sciences International. in addition advising Israeli distributors & developed a unique training program for CBCT customers. He is helping MIS the Israeli leading implant manufacturer & HAPro the Israeli Simplant distributor, in the integration of Cone Beam CT scans for surgical guides. A member of the International Association of Dento-Maxillo-facial Radiology. He is invited to lecture in various congresses & hospitals around the world. Frequently invited to Tel Aviv University & Hadassah University Hospital to contribute in clinical applications of Cone Beam CT.
